Trunk Show Loan Agreement

Version 1.0 · Effective 18 August 2026  |  Download as PDF

By completing your trunk show order you agree to the following terms.

1. What this is

A trunk show is a set of finished quilt samples, listed on your order, shipped to you on loan for display in your shop. It is not a purchase.

2. Ownership

All quilts, labels, and packaging remain the property of GE Designs at all times.

3. Loan period

Four weeks maximum, starting the day the trunk ships. Your return must be postmarked on or before the due date on your booking confirmation. If you need longer, contact us before the due date.

4. Shipping

Round trip shipping is your responsibility. A return label is included in the box to make sending it back easy, and shipping is billed to you.

5. Care

Display only. Keep the quilts clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight. Do not wash, launder, alter, cut, or remove labels from any quilt.

6. Damage

Quilts are inspected when the trunk is returned. If a quilt comes back damaged, you are responsible for the cost of repair.

7. Loss or non-return

If a quilt is lost, or the trunk is not returned, you are responsible for the full replacement value of each affected quilt. Replacement value reflects materials, piecing, quilting, and binding. A full trunk typically represents somewhere between $2,200 and $3,000 in replacement value.

8. Charges

Repair and replacement charges are invoiced separately from your trunk show fee.
